  Every author needs a group of friends going through the same struggles. Sometimes this involves late-night rants about how hard writing is. Sometimes this involves conversations made entirely of GIFs and rainbow emojis. Sometimes this is honest feedback, promoting each other’s books, or just drinking wine and talking about everything except writing. To my crit bitches: I’m forever grateful to have you in my life. Hugs and unicorns to each of you.
